Although the compact size is nice, I tried to find Lorapetalum right off the bat, and it wasn't in this book. Perhaps these books should be done by region. I live in the Deep South, and we grow different plants than someone in the north, northeast, west, southwest, and northwest. I would rate this book as just so-so. I have seen much more comprehensive books on the subject.Product details

Excellent book even for professional landscapers. First chapters are basics that Are for beginners but gets better once it gets into plant by plant
Great book, well organized, very clear directions. I bought three more to give as gifts.
I love, love this book. I am a master gardener and cannot get enough resources like this. It is small, can be carried in a pocket and referred to at a moments notice as to how to prune flowers, shrubs, trees, anything. It is so great. And it is only $14.95. Get it and enjoy!
